Total & Permanent Disability Insurance
While for most people the early death of an income earner would cause serious financial strain for those left behind, the financial impact would be just as serious if that income-earner became totally and permanently disabled and would be unable to work for the rest of their life.

In some cases the hardship experienced would be even more profound as ongoing daily living and medical costs for the disabled person could be significant.

Key Person Insurance
Small or medium-sized businesses often have one or two key people that can put the company at risk if they’re out of action.

Key Person insurance pays for the cost of replacing a key member of staff for up to 12 months if they are unable to work due to illness or injury. This gives the business time to recover and/or put in place appropriate measures to keep it running. The business can use the benefit in any way it chooses.

Mortgage/Debt Protection Insurance
The purchase of a home is one of the largest financial commitments you will make. Once you have committed yourself to a home loan, your lender typically expects you to meet your repayments, even when you can’t work due to sickness or injury. No one likes to think about serious illness or death but it makes sense to reduce the financial impact of such possibilities.

Have you thought about how your dependents would repay the mortgage on your home if you were to die suddenly or be unable to work due to serious illness or a prolonged period of disability?

Mortgage/Debt Protection insurance works when you can’t through a range of cover options that are designed to meet your protection needs.

Group Insurances
Companies can choose to offer group insurance where the employer pays for cover for all eligible employees
on a single premium basis.

Group Insurance options available include:
– Life Insurance
– Trauma Insurance
– Health Insurance
– Total and Permanent Disablement Insurance
– Income Protection Insurance

In many cases cover will be granted without any evidence of health for eligible employees up to the automatic acceptance limit, which is different for each insurance option.

Group Risk insurance require a minimum of 10 eligible employees.

Group Health insurance require a minimum of 20 eligible employees. (Immediate cover is available for qualifying pre-existing conditions for the employee and immediate family members).
